Back to School Was A Great Success!

This morning 9 Grace Volunteers helped distribute gift cards to 66 students to get ready to be back in school. Total value was $3,380, as I had a very late addition of one child and used some leftover $10 cards from last Christmas. These students ranged from Kindergarten to Seniors in High School from 23 separate families.
We distributed information through a representative of Aliento on education and job opportunities. Thanks to some members who provided purchased School supplies, every family took home some items from our “give-away table”. Bottled water and granola bars were handed out as desired.
