It is a preschool and extended-day environment for 2-1/2- through 5-year-olds to experience, learn, practice skills, build relationships and discover the joy of learning.
We will be covering academics, fine and gross motor skills, colors, number recognition, shapes, phonics, reading readiness concepts, cutting skills, art and crafts projects, practical life skills, science, and music. We have a teacher and instructional assistant in each classroom with a ratio of 1:8 (16 students in each classroom), and a spacious, safe and fenced outside play area. Snacks are also included. We are fortunate to have a bilingual instructor as part of our staff.
The purpose of Grace United Methodist Love and Learning Center is to provide within a Christian framework an environment for growth, development and learning at the child's individual pace. The curriculum shall include Math and Reading Readiness Skills, Language Development, Music-Rhythms, Art or expressional Activities, Story Time plus Character and Physical Development.
